This special event will feature four grower Champagnes—wines crafted by family-owned estates that manage every step of production from vineyard to bottle. These Champagnes reflect the personal, family-driven nature of winemaking and showcase a range of grape varieties permitted in the region. Each selection represents the classic style of Champagne, with one thing in mind: these wines are meant to be enjoyed. 

Here’s a sneak peek at what we’ll be pouring: 

Gamet Blanc de Noirs “Rive Droite” 

85% Pinot Meunier, 15% Pinot Noir

We begin the tasting by highlighting the Pinot Meunier grape, which is gaining more recognition in Champagne today. This variety brings a fleshy mid-palate and a wild, almost untamed character that we find captivating. The vines, aged between 40 to 50 years, are grown in sandy soils with a clay-limestone base. 

Pierre Paillard Extra Brut “Les Parcelles” Grand Cru

70% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay

This wine showcases the grandeur and boldness of Grand Cru Pinot Noir at its finest. Oak aging adds an additional layer of complexity and frames this “masterpiece,” making it a true representation of what Grand Cru Champagne has to offer. 

Veuve Fourny Brut “Grands Terroirs” Premier Cru

80% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir

This cuvée places Premier Cru Chardonnay at the forefront, bringing elegance, refinement, and energy to the blend. Sourced from the prestigious Côte des Blancs, this wine shines with the pedigree of its Chardonnay roots. 

Aubry Brut “Premier Cru”

A true symphony in a bottle, this cuvée features a harmonious blend of 40% Chardonnay (some aged in used barrels), 35% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier, and 5% of rare grape varieties—Petite Meslier, Arbanne, and Fromenteau—offering a nod to the forgotten grapes of Champagne’s history.
